This past week, with a very heavy heart, I had to cancel our Bible Study. It was the last class of a twenty-three-session study on the Life of David and I agonized over my decision. But we have more than ten people in our group and the health of my ‘Sisters in Faith’ and their families comes first. This made me think of how in desperate times, King David always turned to God.
My soul finds rest in God alone; my salvation comes from Him. He alone is my rock and my salvation; He is my fortress, I will never be shaken. Psalm 62:1
So when Barbara, our prayer leader, sent me this sermon from her pastor which began with these very words, I just had to share it with all of you. Pastor Todd Mullins has an “antidote to anxiety” for this time of uncertainly, anxiety and fear.
Please take the time to watch this. It will be twenty-nine minutes of calm that will fill your mind and heart with hope and peace.
Praying that the faithful presence of God in our lives is the rock on which we stand today, tomorrow and always.
