Dear Friends,
Forgive the long delay since I last blogged. I have had the wonderful blessing of family and puppies filling the house. Yes, not one but two puppies – one our daughter’s. We call it the “Dog and Tony Show.” If you haven’t had a puppy in the house lately, it is like having a new baby. It is an exciting and busy time when it seems most other things get relegated to the back burner for a bit.
As we share our household with these pups, I can’t help but know that God has entrusted these sweet creatures to our care. I feel His awesomeness in wet noses, loving kisses and puppy barks. We are so grateful for countless blessings and that by grace through faith, our hearts are filled this Christmas season with the very real Hope of Salvation.
On the other hand, we are not untouched by loved ones who are experiencing untold pain and grief this year. Many are not feeling blessed today. Many are struggling with illness, loss, fear, anxiety and loneliness. Many are having a hard time separating the ‘what is’ from the ‘what will be.’ So, today we pray for those who are hurting that they will not abandon their faith, but that they will be blessed with the strength to trust in that very real hope of salvation.
Our deepest gratitute to all of you, our faithful readers for your continuing support.
“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given, and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace” (Isaiah 9:6).
Our love, prayers and warmest wishes for a blessed Christmas and New Year,

Donna:
This Christmas Eve, though with my daughter and her family, I do think back remembering happy times with Memere and Pepere Michaud and miss them. My prayers are with my son, Jean-Paul, who is essentially lost to himself and the family, due to mental illness. One of the wounds to his heart is the loss of all his cousins and his Uncle Gerry.
I am very happy to learn you have the joy of puppies in your life as they are truly like caring for human babies. Have always thought of you often. Wishing you joy and the presence of your family at Christmas.
With Love-Janice (Michaud) Aquino
Blessed Christmas to all!
Thank you as always, Donna
